ACCOMPANIED TOUR TO NORTHERN HOLLAND AND AMSTERDAM
We use several two and three star hotels for our tours to Amsterdam/ North Holland, in Haarlem, Amsterdam and Vollerdam.
These are carefully selected for their comfort and security.
DAY 1
Visit to Boulogne en-route.
The Nausicaa Sealife centre.
This huge sealife centre offers a really fascinating and enjoyable visit.
It is cleverly presented to offer a huge range of material.
The shark pool is a favourite to many, others love seeing the sealions and others the entertaining penguins. There are films to see, shops and a pool where students can touch fish. Nausicaa is situated right
on the beach and students can enjoy some time by the beach and refreshments. Supper in the Flunch Restaurant and onward transfer into Holland and our hotel.
DAY 2
Zaanse Schans
After breakfast we will visit the living museum of Zaanse Schans where typical Dutch houses have been transferred, reassembled and restored. There is an interesting collection of shops, houses and windmills, some of which were originally used to drain the Polders.
This accompanied tour will include a visit to the cheese farm and the wooden shops and houses.
Amsterdam
An afternoon transfer to Amsterdam for excursions that will include:
• A guided tour of the City by tourist boat.
• A visit to the Stoltie Diamond Factory and shop
• A ride on a tram,
• A visit to the very heart of the city to visit to the Flower Market and a chance to have a break for shopping and refreshments.
Please note
Some groups like to include a visit to the Anne Frank ‘Secret Annex.’
This is a particularly rewarding trip that tells the story of how Anne and her family survived hidden from the Nazis during the Second World War.
Return to the hotel and supper on arrival.
DAY 3
The Six Flags Theme Park
We offer an included full day visit to the ’Six Flags Theme Park.’ This is highly recommended, with its six major rides, six shows taking place throughout the day and many other activities and rides.
Supper in the Park
DAY 4
Bruges
Journey home with a visit to Bruges en-route. We will walk through the attractive cobbled lanes into the centre of Bruges to enjoy a cruise through the canals that crisscross the town.
There should be time to enjoy a coffee break in one of the cafes dotted around the main square before our Channel crossing and return to school or college.
We would very much like you to browse through our information and if you do not see exactly what you seek, to let us know.
We run tours all over Europe. Giving an example of just one country – in France we run tours to Paris, Normandy, Brittany, Poitiers, Carcasonne, Toulouse, Aix -en-Provence and for good measure, for our Language Tours, we even cross over into Switzerland and run tours in Montreux by Lake Geneva and Villars in the Swiss Alps.
So, if you have an idea in mind, just let us know and we will produce a suggested itinerary, with hotel, catering etc. included within two working days.
